The Edmund Burke Society is a movement dedicated to preserving and promoting the basic virtues of Western Christian Civilization — individual freedom; individual responsibility; a self-sacrificing love of country; and a willingness to work and pay one’s own way and not be a burden on others. These virtues have made our civilization great. Communism, socialism, and welfare-state liberalism are tearing it apart. The Edmund Burke Society stands for a regeneration of Western Civilization and firm action against all its enemies.
The E.B.S. is financed mainly through small donations from generous Canadians. Straight Talk! is produced by voluntary labour.

The Trudeau Government, which humiliated Canada with its recognition of Red China over a year ago felt most honoured when the reds sent them Huang Hua, one of their top diplomats, as ambassador. Out went Ottawa’s “red” carpet. However, Huang spent little time in Canada. Most of his efforts were directed toward Washington and the U.N. Then, without telling Ottawa, Huang Hua is off as ambassador to the U.N. The first our Department of External Affairs knew about it was at the press conference at which Huang announced his decision.
Look for more internal subversion in Canada’s Chinese community with the coming of Yao Kuang, the replacement for Huang Hua. Yao was the Red Chinese ambassador to Poland for the past twenty months and is highly regarded as an organizer — read espionage operative.
